Role of the production Company
Production companies are in control of the physical basis of media work including filming, tv, internet and others. They are usually owned or under a contract with a media conglomerate, film studio, entertainment company or motion picture company, who are the production companys partner or parent company. They can also be mainsteam independent with such companies as Lucasfilms, or completley independent such as Lionsgate.
The role of the production company is to promote our film to the public as much as they can. It needs to be available on every platform possible to attract the right attention and draw all eyes to our trailer to ensure viewers follow up by watching the whole film. The production company will provide the basis for all of the marketing, developing, production and distribution work involving media, film, television, radio, video, internet and many others to make sure the right message is being portrayed about our film. They will control the budget of the film too so they will determine on the special effects and quality of the film too depending on the given available budget that we will have.They are also responsible for getting together a respected and talented cast to bring the best of the script through to the TV screen. The production company is usually in charge of everything, from making the scripts to selling the film to the cinema, they supply everything needed to make the best films possible and ensure that the film is a brilliant watch.
